Denver police are still looking for the driver who hit and killed a person in a wheelchair last month, and they are now renewing their public plea for help.
The fatal hit-and-run happened near East 35th Avenue and North Albion Street at about 1 a.m. on March 8, according to authorities. Investigators say the driver took off without stopping, and the case remains open.
What investigators say
In a social media post, the Denver Police Department said the victim sustained fatal injuries and identified the investigation as case number 26-126629. The department asked anyone with information about the driver or the vehicle to come forward, according to the Denver Police Dept.
