Little Man Ice Cream is about to put its name on a lot more doors. The hometown brand is consolidating several of its sibling scoop shops under the flagship Little Man label, a move that will change storefronts across Denver and Fort Collins. The rebrand will touch Sweet Cooie’s in Congress Park, The Constellation in Central Park, and Old Town Churn in Fort Collins, with owner Paul Tamburello steering the rollout as the company sharpens its identity while growing beyond the original LoHi milk-can location.
Which shops are changing
All three affected spots are already listed as part of the Little Man family on the company’s locations page, where Sweet Cooie’s, The Constellation, and Old Town Churn appear alongside other neighborhood outposts. According to Little Man Ice Cream Company, the business runs multiple branded concepts plus a production and tasting facility that keeps scoops flowing across the Front Range. Pulling a few of those sister shops under one shared Little Man name is meant to give the neighborhood locations a single, more recognizable brand.
When they'll flip and freebies
The rebrands are scheduled to start in mid-May, and the company is planning small grand-opening promos at each spot. As reported by WhatNow, the first 50 guests will score free scoops on the designated opening dates: Central Park on May 15 (7 p.m. to close), Congress Park on May 16 (noon to close), and Fort Collins on May 17 (noon to close). WhatNow also reports that owner Paul Tamburello aims to fold company-owned concepts into the Little Man banner and is eyeing locations outside the Denver area.
A consolidated brand and growing ambitions
Tamburello opened the original Little Man milk-can shop in 2008 and has since grown it into a cluster of themed sister concepts and a wholesale operation, according to Little Man Ice Cream Company. A profile in Bisnow details how the business evolved from a single novelty storefront into a network of neighborhood shops supported by a large production kitchen. For customers, the most obvious shift will likely be new signage and a more unified approach to loyalty and promotions, while for the company, it could streamline marketing and set the table for future growth.
What customers should know
If you are plotting a visit for the free-scoop days, it is worth checking each shop’s website or social channels for the latest hours and status before heading out. Old Town Churn’s own site has listed a temporary closure earlier this year, suggesting that updates have already been in the works at that Fort Collins location; see Old Town Churn. For now, local outlets are reporting the plan and say they have reached out to Little Man for more details and official comment, so keep an eye on company channels for any formal announcements or schedule tweaks.
