Months after a deadly motorcycle crash cut short the life of a 27-year-old father, a grieving family is still waiting for answers and for someone to come forward. Relatives of Anthony Michael Workman gathered in Parma on April 25 to renew a public plea for witnesses, saying the driver who hit him and took off has yet to be identified.
The October collision left Workman’s young son without a dad and his fiancée without a partner. Loved ones say the case has sat in limbo for months, and they are banking on renewed attention to finally shake loose a tip that helps detectives track down the vehicle involved.
According to WKYC, family members, including Kameryn Hatfield, stood in front of cameras on April 25 and delivered a simple plea to the public: “If you know something, say something.” They said surveillance video appears to capture the moment of impact, but that has not yet led to an arrest.
Relatives told WKYC they have not been informed of any suspect being identified and that police have not announced any arrests in the hit-and-run case. In the meantime, they are left to navigate grief that shows up in the smallest details of everyday life.
Angela Bossone shared one of those moments at the gathering, recalling how the loss is showing up at school for Workman’s son. “It’s really hard when my great-nephew’s in school and he’s drawing pictures of his family with his dad in heaven,” she said.
Crash And Investigation Details
Per Cleveland19, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner identified the rider as Anthony Michael Workman, 27, of Brook Park. WOIO reported that the crash happened around 9:40 p.m. on Oct. 27, 2025, on West 25th Street near the I-71 south entrance ramp.
Investigators say Workman was heading north on his motorcycle when another northbound vehicle tried to make a left turn and slammed into him. The driver of that vehicle then took off, leaving Workman behind and his family to pick up the pieces.
Detectives have said there is still no clear public description of the vehicle that fled. According to WOIO, investigators are reviewing surveillance footage and combing through witness statements in an effort to piece together what happened and who was behind the wheel.
Family Remembers Workman
Workman’s obituary describes him as a devoted fiancé and father whose death shattered a wide circle of relatives and friends. According to Legacy.com, he is survived by his fiancée, Adrianna Villarreal, and their son, Alexavier.
Family members say they are determined to find whoever left him in the road that night. They have publicly urged the community to help them get answers, insisting that even a tiny fragment of information could finally move the investigation forward.
They point to things like dashcam footage, a partial license plate, or even a hazy memory of an unfamiliar car on West 25th that evening as potentially crucial clues. Any of those details, they say, might be the key that unlocks the case.
How To Help
Anyone with information about the Oct. 27 crash is asked to contact the Cleveland Division of Police. The city’s non-emergency line is 216-621-1234, and tips can also be submitted online, according to the City of Cleveland.
Investigators have asked residents who live or drive along the West 25th Street corridor to check any security or dashcam footage from that night and preserve what they have. They want those recordings shared with detectives if there is any chance the suspect vehicle appears on screen.
For Workman’s family, every call or online tip represents a small measure of hope that someone will finally break the silence, deliver justice for Anthony, and bring an end to months of waiting without answers.
