
A 15-year-old boy was shot and killed early Saturday morning in Baldwin Park, a burst of pre-dawn gunfire that also left two men wounded and a neighborhood reeling.
The shooting was reported at about 5:06 a.m. on the 12900 block of Bess Avenue, authorities said. Responding officers found the teenage boy suffering from gunshot wounds, and he was later pronounced dead at the scene. Two adult men were also hit and rushed to a nearby hospital, where they were listed in critical but stable condition. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide Bureau is assisting Baldwin Park police with the case.
In a news release, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said the call came in at approximately 5:06 a.m. regarding a shooting on the 12900 block of Bess Ave and confirmed that the male juvenile victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
