Curry Pizza House has officially called it quits in Katy, owner Neha Gogna confirmed, after roughly 16 months of serving its Indian-inspired pies. The fast-casual spot cited slow business for the decision to close.
Gogna announced the closure on social media on April 4, and the Katy shop locked its doors for good on April 6, she said in the post and to local reporters. "This decision was not easy. We poured our hearts into serving this community, and we are incredibly grateful for every customer who supported us," she wrote, according to Community Impact. The outlet reports the location had been open about 16 months and that Gogna pointed to slow business as the reason for shutting down.
Menu and What It Offered
The Katy shop leaned into fusion comfort food, mixing classic pies with South Asian flavors. The menu featured curry chicken masala, curry veggie delight, barbecue paneer and tandoori chicken, according to Curry Pizza House. The concept carved out a niche with diners who wanted something a little different from the standard slice in the Katy area.
Chain Footprint and Upcoming Openings
Community Impact notes that Curry Pizza House operates in nine states and had seven Texas locations, including a store in nearby Cypress. The company's listings also show "coming soon" entries for San Antonio and Prosper/Celina, suggesting the brand is not slowing expansion even as it exits Katy.
Ownership Records and What’s Next
Public legal notices filed in November 2024 list Two Slice LLC d/b/a Curry Pizza House at the Katy address and name Neha Gogna among company officers, confirming the local business entity behind the shop. Those notices appear in the Daily Court Review, and Curry Pizza House shows the filings and the company's Katy listing.
