How winners claim
Major Cash Five prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing, and winners must present validated tickets before prizes are paid, per the Pennsylvania Lottery's guidance. For questions about claiming a prize, the Lottery directs players to its claims department and toll-free hotline at 1-800-692-7481, according to the Lottery's winners' handbook (Pennsylvania Lottery).
About the retailer
Coen Markets operates dozens of convenience stores across Pennsylvania and nearby states, including the two locations that sold the winning tickets. The chain's regional footprint means local stores sometimes get a publicity bump and a $5,000 retailer bonus when they sell a big prize, as shown on the Coen listing on MapQuest.
