After more than two decades blending smoothies in Anaheim’s Downtown Disney, the Jamba location is officially on the clock. The shop will pour its last drink on July 5, 2026, before closing to make way for Bopo Go!, a boba and snacks concept from Southern California brand Bopomofo. The change ends a 23 year run for the quick service stand, which opened shortly after the district debuted and received a refresh in 2020. Jamba fans still have until the night of July 5 to grab one more smoothie or bowl before the space gets handed over.
Disneyland officials confirmed the tenant swap to local media this week, and the closing date has been circulating across regional outlets. Citing Disneyland’s comments to KTLA, KRON4 reports that Bopo Go! will take over the existing Jamba footprint. Planning and fan sites that routinely track resort changes have also pointed out Jamba’s long tenure and note that the timing lines up with recent permit activity tied to the space, according to Mickey Visit.
What’s replacing Jamba
Bopo Go! is described as a convenience store inspired café custom built for Downtown Disney by the team behind Bopomofo Café. Disney teased the concept last year, signaling that the district’s drink lineup was in for a shakeup. In its official announcement, Disneyland Resort outlines a menu centered on higher end boba, signature beverages, light bites and imported snacks selected specifically with Downtown Disney visitors in mind.
Who’s behind the new spot
The brains behind Bopo Go! are Bopomofo founders Eric and Philip Wang, who already run several locations around Southern California. Their take on boba culture and café food has built a following well beyond the San Gabriel Valley. Eater LA has detailed the brand’s growth in the region and the way the Wangs plan to tweak their menu for the heavier crowds and tourist driven traffic that come with a Downtown Disney address.
Construction and timeline
On the paperwork side, public permit filings indicate Disneyland has applied to remodel the roughly 1,200 square foot Jamba space, a standard step before a new tenant build out. Mickey Visit and similar outlets have highlighted the permit details that signal the changeover. Bopomofo’s own social media posts say construction is expected to start this summer, coverage that has been rounded up by Daps Magic. That timeline suggests construction walls and scaffolding could appear not long after Jamba’s final day of service.
Downtown Disney’s continuing churn
The Jamba to Bopo Go! handoff is the latest sign that Downtown Disney’s lineup is still in flux as Disney swaps in new concepts and renovates older storefronts. Sites that monitor the resort’s dining scene have noted that a round of openings and remodels announced in 2025 has sped up turnover throughout the district, with this smoothie to boba change counted as part of that broader refresh, according to Disney Food Blog. For now, Anaheim visitors still have a limited window to say goodbye to Jamba before Downtown Disney’s drink options tilt even more toward boba and imported snacks.
