
Harris County Precinct 4 deputies say what started as a routine traffic stop on Wednesday, May 13, in the 4800 block of Louetta Road ended with a felony arrest. The driver, identified as Steven Anthony Delafuente, was taken into custody after deputies reported discovering three active felony warrants. Delafuente was transported to the Harris County Jail, where he remains pending action from prosecutors and the 228th District Court. Authorities say bond has not yet been set.
Precinct 4 Says Traffic Stop Turned Into Felony Bust
According to Constable Mark Herman's Office, deputies pulled over a vehicle in the 4800 block of Louetta Road and identified the driver as Steven Anthony Delafuente. The social media post states that Delafuente had three active warrants for “first degree felony possession of child pornography video/film.” Deputies then booked him and transported him to the Harris County Jail.
Records Point To Earlier Harris County Booking
Public booking records compiled by BustedNewspaper show a Dec. 19, 2025, Harris County booking for a Steven Anthony Delafuente on three counts labeled “POSS OF CHILD PORN VIDEO/FILM.” The constable’s office did not specify how that earlier booking relates to the active warrants mentioned in Thursday’s post.

Delafuente remains presumed innocent at this stage; according to Constable Mark Herman's Office, the 228th District Court has not set bond and will oversee upcoming proceedings.
