Charcuterie boards just went from special-occasion splurge to Southside staple. On April 29, Amber Davis cut the ribbon on her new Graze Craze shop on Jacksonville’s Southside, bringing a counter-style charcuterie storefront to The Avenues area for everything from quick solo lunches to full-blown party spreads.
The shop is set up for grab-and-go cups, ready-made boards and larger platters that can anchor an event. Davis, who already operates several local franchises, plans to be behind the counter herself, with one additional employee. This Southside spot is the third Graze Craze location serving Northeast Florida.
Ribbon-cutting at The Avenues
According to the Jacksonville Daily Record, Davis held the April 29 ribbon-cutting at 9960 Southside Blvd., in front of Best Buy and between the Chick-fil-A and Starbucks near The Avenues. The outlet reports the shop will operate 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and will be closed on Sundays. The Daily Record also notes that customers can place orders by phone or online.
What’s on the menu
Graze Craze’s lineup runs from single-person “Char-Cutie” cups to large boards built for parties. Single servings were listed at about $9, while larger party boards climb into the low hundreds, depending on size and style.
The boards stick to the hits: cheeses, cured meats, crackers, fruit, dips and breads, along with meat-and-vegetable, vegetarian, keto and sweet-focused combinations. As listed on ezCater, each order is assembled by hand on site and can be set up for pickup or delivery.
Local owners with franchise experience
As reported by the Jacksonville Daily Record, Amber Davis and her husband, Joshua, already own four local Cold Stone Creamery locations and previously ran a Planet Smoothie out of the same Southside unit now occupied by Graze Craze. The paper notes that Joshua Davis also operates JanSan, an industrial cleaning and supply company, and that he was named one of the Daily Record’s Top Entrepreneurs of the Year for 2026.
Amber Davis told the outlet she put roughly $25,000 into the build-out and equipment for the new charcuterie shop.
Brand momentum beyond Jacksonville
Graze Craze is not exactly a mom-and-pop experiment. The franchised brand has been expanding quickly; the International Franchise Association reported that Graze Craze reached its 100th location in October 2025, according to Franchise.org.
Recent openings in other markets have highlighted the same pickup-and-catering model sliding into busy retail strips; cheeseboard frenzy hits Katy Freeway near Houston, for example. That kind of momentum helps explain why local franchise owners see space for more pickup-first charcuterie concepts in neighborhood shopping centers.
