
A violent stretch on Sunday left three people wounded in separate shootings across Milwaukee, with two of the incidents unfolding within about 40 minutes of each other as detectives searched for suspects, according to police.
According to WISN, the first shooting happened around 4:20 p.m. near Fond du Lac Avenue and Wright Street, where a 36-year-old person was shot. Just before 5 p.m., officers responded to the area of 3rd Street and Concordia Avenue for a second scene, where a 27-year-old was shot. Both victims were taken to area hospitals. A third shooting was reported later Sunday near 29th Street and Elder Wallace Drive, and police said all three incidents remain under investigation as they look for suspects.
