
A tense argument aboard an MTA M104 bus on Manhattan’s Upper West Side ended in bloodshed Friday evening when a 74-year-old man was stabbed, police said. The dispute erupted around 6:39 p.m. near West 92nd Street and Broadway, and medics rushed the injured rider to St. Luke’s Hospital. Authorities said he was stabbed in the left arm and is expected to survive.
According to the New York Daily News, police say the victim had been arguing with another passenger aboard the M104 when the confrontation turned violent. Investigators described two men bolting off the bus and running south on Broadway. One was last seen wearing a red hat and tan shorts, the other in gray and blue jeans. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577‑TIPS. As of the latest report, the NYPD had not announced any arrests.
