
A Saturday morning drive in Annapolis turned deadly when a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Forest Drive and Quiet Waters Place left one person dead and two others injured, police said. Emergency crews had to cut a trapped passenger out of the wreckage and provided advanced life-support at the scene. One driver was flown to a Shock Trauma center with serious injuries, while the other driver suffered minor injuries and declined transport.
Crash details and victims
Officers were called to the intersection at about 8:27 a.m. for a collision between a sedan and a pickup, according to WJLA. Responders quickly extricated a male passenger from the sedan, but despite advanced life-support efforts, he was pronounced dead. The sedan's female driver was taken to Shock Trauma with serious injuries. The Annapolis Fire Department, Anne Arundel County Fire Department and the Maryland State Police Aviation Command all assisted at the scene.
