Another round of late-night gunfire had West Seattle neighbors on edge Monday, after multiple 911 callers reported shots near 29th Ave SW and SW Brandon Street. Seattle police responding to the area confirmed at least one instance of gunfire and said they found shell casings at the intersection. Officers canvassed nearby blocks for evidence well into the night, and there were no reports of injuries.

Police Logs Show Recurring Calls
Seattle police records show SW Brandon has seen more than its share of “shots fired” calls in recent months. A June SPD blotter post noted officers recovered evidence after reports of gunfire in the 3900 block of SW Brandon. According to the Seattle Police Blotter, many of those incidents ended with spent shell casings collected but no injured victims located.
Neighbors Say This Feels Familiar
Local coverage and residents have described a pattern of similar late-night shootings, with shell casings turning up on nearby blocks and unease growing in the Delridge–High Point corridor. Recent reporting on gunfire rattling High Point, casings littering a 30th SW block detailed several incidents where officers again found multiple spent casings after calls in the same general area.
