
A 61-year-old man is recovering in the hospital after being shot in southeast Baltimore on Thursday evening, the latest burst of gunfire on a troubled stretch of N. Montford Avenue.

Officers were called to the 400 block of N. Montford Avenue around 7:53 p.m. Thursday for a reported shooting, according to FOX45. When Southeast District detectives arrived, they found the 61-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
Medics took him to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.

Southeast District detectives are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call them at 410-396-2422, according to the Baltimore Police Department.
