On the festival’s Cleveland event page, Country Rising said the decision “came after conversations with local stakeholders and public safety partners” and that “the approvals necessary to safely produce the event would not be in place within the required timeframe.” The festival added that all ticket purchasers will receive communication about available options, including refunds, in its Cleveland event update.
