Spring residents no longer have to choose between a sit-down brunch and a speedy coffee run. Common Bond has opened a new Spring outpost that merges its full-service Bistro & Bakery with its On-The-Go drive-thru in a single location. The combined setup lets northern Houston diners linger over an all-day breakfast or grab pastries and coffee without leaving the car, as the Houston-born bakery continues its push into suburban neighborhoods.
Bistro Meets Drive‑Thru
Common Bond opened its newest Bistro & Bakery on June 18 at 21620 Kuykendahl Road and describes it as the brand’s first Bistro & Bakery to feature a drive-thru. The Spring location includes a 78-seat interior and a 32-seat patio while running the bistro’s breakfast and lunch menu all day. The company’s announcement also highlights grand-opening perks, including free macarons for the first 100 guests and a kids-eat-free promotion that runs through July 31, 2026, according to Common Bond.
What’s On The Menu
The Spring outpost serves Common Bond’s all-day bistro dishes such as lemon-stuffed French toast, shrimp and grits, steak and eggs and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, alongside an expansive pastry case. Signature baked goods like hand-laminated croissants, kouign-amann and chocolate chip cookies share space with showpiece desserts such as the espresso-martini entremet and rotating seasonal items. The layout is designed to handle both leisurely brunch crowds and quick morning commuters, as reported by CultureMap Houston.
Rewards And Weekly Deals
Common Bond is rolling its Daily Rewards program into the Spring location, giving loyalty members weekday deals that include free drip coffee with a pastry on Monday, $10.99 flatbreads on Tuesday, 50% off loaves of bread on Wednesday and $1 mimosas with a food purchase on Thursday. The lineup also features a $3.99 kids meal on Sunday with a qualifying purchase, and members can redeem offers through the Common Bond app or by providing their rewards phone number at checkout. The Daily Rewards schedule is outlined on the company’s rewards page, which the chain launched earlier this year, according to Common Bond.
Why Spring
The new Spring spot takes over a former Panera Bread building on Kuykendahl Road, filling a vacancy left after Panera closed several local locations. It joins Common Bond’s existing City Place location, which opened in 2020, giving northern Houston residents multiple neighborhood options for the brand. Community Impact reported that the chain told the outlet it was planning a summer opening at the Kuykendahl site and that the store is part of the company’s continued suburban expansion.
Practical Details
The Spring location serves breakfast and lunch all day and opens each morning at 7 a.m. The drive-thru is available from opening to speed up morning pickups, and the store lists a local phone contact for the Spring location on its ordering portal. For menus, hours and ordering, diners can check local coverage, the restaurant’s ordering page on Toast and CultureMap’s opening coverage for additional context.
