Orion, the Omaha-based wealthtech firm, has planted its flag in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, opening a new suburban office that is slated to house roughly 100 employees across wealth management, marketing, finance and sales. Company leaders are framing the move as part of a broader push into the Philadelphia region as Orion works to build what it calls an AI-native, collaborative workforce.
The move was first detailed on June 11 by ThinkAdvisor, which reported that the King of Prussia office will employ about 100 staffers and quoted Julie Lane, Orion’s chief human resources officer, saying the new location "positions us for what’s ahead as we continue building an AI-native, collaborative workforce."
Orion's AI push
The King of Prussia opening lands as Orion is busy weaving artificial intelligence into both its products and its internal operations. In a press release via Business Wire, the company laid out details of Denali AI, an enterprise intelligence layer introduced at Ascent 2026, which Orion says is designed to turn permissioned, firm-approved data into faster, more actionable answers for advisors and internal teams.
Local hiring and the suburban office market
Orion is already hiring with King of Prussia in mind. Recent LinkedIn job listings for the company list King of Prussia as an in-office worksite, a signal that leadership expects to ramp up staffing at the new location in the coming months. The move also lines up with momentum in the local suburban office market, where fresh leasing and refinancing have helped landlords reposition Class-A office parks and pursue new tenants. recent deals and upgrades have helped attract new leases in the area.
Orion has been adding regional hubs in recent years as it scales its product and sales teams, including a Lehi, Utah office the company opened in 2025, according to an Orion news release. The King of Prussia site appears to be the latest step in that expansion strategy. For now, Orion has not publicly shared a firm move-in date or a specific timeline for when the new office is expected to reach its full headcount.
