Four unidentified men robbed multiple victims at gunpoint on San Antonio's Southwest Side, and police are still trying to figure out who they are more than two months later. The robbery happened around 2 a.m. on June 14, 2026, in the 800 block of Price Avenue, according to police.
San Antonio authorities are asking the public for help identifying the suspects accused of robbing multiple people at gunpoint on the Southwest Side, according to WOAI. Investigators say the four men approached victims who were out in the street before the robbery unfolded, and the case is being classified as an aggravated robbery.
Crime Stoppers of San Antonio is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to a felony arrest in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP (7867); the organization guarantees anonymity and also takes tips through sacrimestoppers.com or the P3 mobile app, according to Crime Stoppers of San Antonio. Residents who prefer texting can also send anonymous tips directly to police by texting the keyword SATIP along with their message to 847411 through the Tip411 system, per KSAT.
A Block With a History of Violence
Price Avenue's 800 block is no stranger to violent police calls. In May 2021, officers tracked a stolen vehicle from a carjacking to that block, touching off a multi-agency standoff that ended with three teenagers arrested on aggravated robbery charges, the outlet reports. Then in October 2022, an early-morning dispute on the same block turned violent when a man shot his neighbor's 26-year-old son in the face and arm with a shotgun around 3:50 a.m., after which the suspect was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Price Avenue sits in San Antonio's Southwest Side, within City Council District 4, an area where city capital improvement projects have previously targeted street lighting and pedestrian upgrades along connecting residential corridors, including lighting enhancements on nearby Bynum Street, according to MySA.
What Aggravated Robbery Charges Could Mean
Under Texas Penal Code Section 29.03, robbing someone while using or exhibiting a deadly weapon such as a firearm is classified as aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony punishable by five to 99 years or life in state prison and a fine of up to $10,000, according to Saputo Toufexis. Standard robbery under a separate statute is a second-degree felony carrying two to 20 years, but brandishing a gun automatically elevates the charge and raises the statutory minimum sentence, per Mathur Law Offices. That display of a weapon is the key factor that pushes prosecutors toward the harsher charge whenever a gun is shown during a street robbery.
Robbery Numbers Trending Down Citywide
The Price Avenue case comes even as San Antonio has seen robbery numbers fall. The city recorded a 16.4% year-over-year decrease in robbery offenses in 2025, part of an overall 13% reduction in citywide crime reported by the San Antonio Police Department, with violent crime against persons dropping 9% overall during the same period, KSAT reported. A University of Texas at San Antonio evaluation of the city's Violent Crime Reduction Plan found violent street crime fell 21.1% in targeted hot spots in 2025, contributing to a continued 8% drop in homicides through mid-2026, according to the San Antonio Report. Nationally, robbery rates across more than 570 participating law enforcement agencies declined by roughly 18% in 2025, per the Real Time Crime Index.
For now, the four men who confronted victims on Price Avenue remain unidentified, and investigators are still seeking information that could help locate and identify them. Anyone with details is urged to come forward through Crime Stoppers' anonymous channels rather than approach the suspects directly.
