Tacoma Streets Fix Gets Second Shot on August Ballot
Tacoma’s City Council voted Tuesday to put a ten‑year streets funding plan — Proposition 1 — on the Aug. 4 primary ballot. The scaled‑back package would renew utility and property levies to pay for paving, safety upgrades and neighborhood connections.
