The Lower Haight’s favorite sports bar is now the Upper Haight’s favorite sports bar, as Mad Dog in the Fog has quietly reopened at Haight and Clayton Streets, in the former Martin Macks space.

The Mad Dog is chasing a liquor license for their apparent newfound home, after the popular sports bar closed its old location just before the pandemic shutdowns.

Open in San Carlos for more than two decades, the New Orleans-style eatery has now expanded to San Francisco.
