Ernie Beyl, author of Sketches from a North Beach Journal, will give a reading and sign his book, about San Francisco characters throughout the city's history, at 6:30pm Monday at Live Worms Gallery (1345 Grant Ave.) The book's Sept. 23rd launch party at Original Joe's saw an overflow crowd for hours.
