On the verge of starvation, I came across a van full of empanadas, parked on a busy side street in Williamsburg. I noticed it because a line was beginning to form in front. Luckily, I had $5.00 in my pocket to purchase two empanadas.
As expected, the empanadas were delicious. However, the fact that they were served out of a mini van made them taste even better.

New York City is full of food trucks, but this is the first food van I’ve ever seen. It was pretty tiny (not much standing or moving room), but it got the job done. Plus, it was also fitted with a security camera.
