Times Square, to many people, is the heart of New York City. It’s an iconic place for locals and tourists alike. As such, you will always find something unique in the area, such as this pop-up art installation:

It’s a dedication to love. For the past eight years, the Times Square Alliance, which works to “improve and promote” Times Square, has collaborated with the Center for Architecture by inviting architecture and design firms to submit proposals for a public art display in celebration of Valentine’s Day.
This year’s winner is Collective-LOK’s Heart of Hearts. The design, which features a ring of golden, mirrored hearts, is located right by the famous red steps of Times Square, between 46th and 47th streets.

The mirrors reflect and highlight the already bustling nature of the city, but stepping inside the pavilion is a different experience altogether. Standing in its center, you will feel as if you are inside a kaleidoscope. Within the ring, there are also spaces inside the hearts that can act as “kissing booths, where couples can see their interactions mirrored. What better way is there to celebrate love?

The installation will remain on view until March 6th. In the meantime, here's four ways to love:
