
When you live in a city as fast paced as NYC, you’re accustomed to change. Stores have a tendency to come and go, and new apartment complexes are constantly being constructed. That’s why I keep coming across juxtapositions like this:


In these pictures, the old and the new are harmoniously coexisting. Personally, I think these juxtapositions add something unique to the overall aesthetic of New York City. They tell the story of an iconic city – one that is full of history as well as innovation.


After all, NYC has never made total sense. It’s always been a hodgepodge of everything from people to restaurants. I guess buildings are no exception.
