Upper Haight Week: Park Days, New Mural, Live Music And ComedyPhoto: Camden Avery/Hoodline

If you've passed the corner of Haight and Cole recently, you'll have noticed that the mural on the side of the Cole Street Smoke Shop has gotten another revamp after its conversion to "Atoms Family" earlier this month.

The new work (pictured above) is still unattributed and appears unfinished, except for a vaguely tie-dye motif and the image of a Pax, the brand-name vaporizer that retails at over $200 and is sold at no fewer than nine smoke shops on the street.

Is it art? Is it advertising? You'll have to decide— we can't quite tell. (Thanks to tipster Denny.)

Here's a brief list of event highlights for the weekend and coming week; if you have an event to add, throw it over at hoodline.com/events to let us know about it. Looking to branch out? There's a full roster of events right over here.
