Nothing is off limits in the city that never sleeps. Over time, you become accustomed to the shenanigans that take place, so much so that “weird” takes on new meaning. Take, for instance, this middle-aged man. A few weeks ago, I filmed him happily dancing in Union Square Park.
Since then, I’ve encountered a few other noteworthy performers.
This dancer, for example, gives our first guy a run for his money:
Then there’s this man learning how to fight right in front of the Kmart in St. Marks. He beat up the pole next to him.
And here is my favorite performance. Using just a quarter, the man in the video threw down a beat and began to sing a song while seated inside a pay phone booth.
