One thing you’ll notice about Williamsburg is how colorful it is. Walk down any street in the neighborhood and you’ll eventually come across some variation of street art, usually in the form of graffiti or spray painted murals that expand from one end of a wall to the other.
In the '90s, artists from all walks of life moved to Williamsburg as SoHo and the East Village gentrified. The neighborhood has since earned the nickname, “Little Berlin,” because of its vast art and music community, as well as its hipster vibe.
