Located in the East Village, Obscura Antiques & Oddities is a shop full of one-of-a-kind knickknacks.
You may have heard of it on the show "Oddities," which aired on the Discovery Channel. The TV series focused on the store’s daily operations and followed its employees as they searched for unique items through flea markets, auctions and personal collections.
Although the shop itself isn't big in size, its collection is quite impressive. You’ll come across shrunken heads, complete skeletons and huge stuffed animals — the taxidermy kind at least.
There’s also an online store, if you’re ever in need of an infant coffin or a raccoon penis bone.
