
I thought I had lost my passion for illustration.
Although I majored in fine art in high school, I completely stopped drawing in college. At the time, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do.
During my drawing hiatus, I did pick up photography as a hobby. I would mostly take photographs during my travels but, eventually, I began carrying my camera with me everywhere I went (mostly out of habit).
For some reason, photography reignited my creative spark. I slowly started immersing myself back into art again.
I haven’t stopped drawing since.
My favorite thing to do now is to combine my photography with my drawings using Photoshop. The images below are all from New York City.
It’s odd, but I do wonder if it’s possible to rediscover a passion.
