The Bushwick Collective Block Party (twitter.com/thebkcollective), Brooklyn’s ultimate weekend fiesta, recently kicked off the month of June with live music, art and food.

Located just off the Jefferson stop on the L train, the event celebrated its fifth year by bringing together an eclectic mix of New Yorkers, from graffiti artists to musicians to vendors.

Bushwick was instantly brought to life thanks to over 50 street art artists, who painted full-length murals on the spot. The real-time paintings provided the perfect backdrop for the occasion, which featured an art exhibition and live musical performances by Jadakiss, Chris Rivers, Joell Ortiz and more.
