Whether you're into discounted drinks or cheap eats, there's a lot to love about a quality happy hour. For those eager to seize a good deal and to unwind after a long day at work, we've rounded up seven of the best happy hours around town.

The Pig
Logan Circle

The vibe: A pork-centric eatery with rustic decor and a solid bourbon selection.

The deal: A $12 bourbon tasting menu that changes week-to-week, $6 cocktails and discounted glasses of wine, beer pints and pitchers. Select small plates are also marked down.

The time: Monday to Thursdays, 4-7pm and Friday to Sunday, 3-7pm. Exclusively at the bar and patio.

Grillfish
West End

The vibe: A casual seafood restaurant popular for its crab cakes.

The deal:  Daily "off the hook" deals include $5.75 specialty cocktails, discounted beer and glasses of wine starting at $5, and happy hour eats include buffalo mac'n'cheese, fish tacos and oyster sliders.

The time: Everyday from 4-7pm, exclusively at the bar. 

Commissary

The vibe: A go-to local lounge with large armchairs and a comfortable patio.

The deal: All drinks and small eats are $3-$7, including truffle fries, nachos, burgers and pizza.

The time: Everyday from 3-7pm at the bar and 4-6pm on the patio. 

Sushi Taro

The vibe: A sleek, upscale Japanese eatery with top notch sushi and sashimi.

The deal: Half off sushi and all alcoholic drinks (not including large bottles).

The time: Monday to Friday, 5:30-7pm exclusively at the bar. 

Vinoteca
U Street Corridor

The vibe: A charming bistro with an extensive wine list (and a large outdoor patio with bocce ball).

The deal: $5 glasses of wine, $5 Peroni drafts and select small plates for $6-$9.

The time: Everyday from 5-7pm.

Cathedral Heights

The vibe: A popular spot for locals that boasts a robust menu of American eats.

The deal: Drink specials include $6.95 glasses of wine, $7.50 cocktails, $1 off pints of beer, $9.50 "supermugs," and snacks like burgers, pizza and bacon nachos are under $10.

The time: All day Monday and Tuesday and 3-7pm on Wednesday-Sunday. 

Mandu

The vibe: A posh Korean restaurant serving up a mix of traditional and street style dishes.

The deal: $4 soju martinis (called "sojutinis"), $3 beers, $4 rails and $3 Korean dumplings (better known as mandu).

The time: Monday to Sunday from 5-7pm at 18th Street and 4-7pm at K Street.
