
Hungry? A new neighborhood Vietnamese spot in has you covered. Located at 900 S Jackson St. (between S 10th Ave) in Yesler Terrace, the fresh arrival is called Lan Huê.
Billed as a bakery and bánh mì spot, the new spot is an outpost of the original Lan Huê, which opened in Vietnam in 1976, and is still in business today. The new Seattle spot features a wide variety of fillings for the Saigon-style sandwiches, from shredded chicken and pork to pork belly, meatballs, bologna, and grilled beef, chicken, pork and more.
With a 4.5-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh arrival is on its way to developing a local fan base.
Heidi P., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 22nd, said: "This place is new to the Pacific Rim Center building. Super clean, super nice and delicious. I've only had their Banh Mi."
Yelper Erik L. added: “Great atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Above and beyond clean for a Vietnamese bread establishment. Made fresh before your eyes."
