A new pet groomer has debuted in the neighborhood. The newcomer to Southeast, called Urban Dogg - Washington Park, is located at 278 S Downing St.
Urban Dogg bills itself as "Denver's favorite neighborhood pet grooming and nutrition provider" with three locations in Capitol Hill, Uptown, and now Washington Park. The shop is locally owned and prides itself in investing "back in the community through financially supporting a myriad of non-profits and charities."
Same-day grooming appointments for your dog are Urban Dogg's specialty, and each appointment includes "a double shampoo bath, conditioner or de-shed conditioner, cut to your specification, herbal ear wash, foam teeth and breath treatment, nail trim and/or grind, anal gland expression and a comforting blueberry and vanilla facial." Cat grooming is available as well.
Nutrition is part of Urban Dogg's mission as well: it sells a variety of natural and organic pet food products. There's also a wide selection of dog jackets, toys, collars, supplements, and treats for your pet.
And while your furry friends are Urban Dogg's guests, "we treat your pets as though they are our own."
Urban Dogg - Washington Park has just one review on Yelp, which gives it a five-star rating thus far.
Gary W., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on August 16th, said: "Nice selection and LOTS of toys for cats and dogs! The greeting cards and candles are my favorite"
