A new restaurant, offering seafood and more, has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Called ink.well, the fresh addition is located at 826 N La Cienega Blvd. in Beverly Grove.

The new spot comes from Top Chef winner Michael Voltaggio: it's the second iteration of his now-closed restaurant Ink, featuring a similar menu, billed as upscale California cuisine with an avant-garde twist.

Votaggio's new spot will feature many of the chef's familiar menu items, like the egg yolk gnocchi or Holstein ribeye steak. But expect to see a burger this time as well, made with dry-aged beef, bacon, and whipped cheese—as well as house-made vegan pesto bucatini for veggie fans, and a white chocolate with caviar and creme fresh blini for dessert.

With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, Ink.well seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Giles S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on August 14th, said: "As a regular at ink. and as someone who once literally ordered the entire menu and I made it a point to go to ink.well on opening night with a 5top."

Yelper B W. added: “Love it! I dug Ink too, but this space is warmer and homier. Sat in room with fireplace which had great vibe. Steak tar tare was nuts.”

And Mister W. said: "All the amazing foods you've come to know and live from Michael Voltaggio just turned up to eleven. And with all that crazy goodness and the standout for me is that wonderful burger. "

Head on over to check it out: Ink.well is open daily from 6am–10pm.
