Looking to chow down on some breakfast and brunch fare? A new spot has you covered. Located at 12181-B Bluff Creek Dr. in Playa Vista, the fresh arrival is called Hash.
Hash is serving up traditional breakfast and brunch treats with some creative additions. Try the Belgian waffles with butter and syrup for that familiar, home-cooked flavor. If you're looking for something a little different, check out the carrot cake waffles with a cream cheese drizzle.
For something a little more hearty at brunchtime, try Big Papa's sandwich (wheat toast, bagel or croissant, choice of protein, tomatoes, eggs any style, arugula, caramelized onions, garlic aoili and harvati cheese) or the Bebop Bowl (steamed or fried brown rice, choice of protein, and Asian-style salsa, eggs any style and a choice of three veggies).
There's also an array of grab-and-go goodies as well, like the Yogurt Trifle, an Açai Bowl, or one of three different savory croissants. (You can see the full menu here.)
With a five-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp so far, Hash is on its way to developing a local fan base.
Linda V., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on August 18th, said: "My Chiquitas was AMAZING. I especially LOVED the Salsa Verde which was fresh and incredibly tasty. My family enjoyed their Hash on Hash orders."
Yelper Marinita C. added: “New place that just opened near my office. I had the carrot cake waffle and it was super delicious. The waffle had the consistency of a cake but not too sweet.”
