If you're searching for a new neighborhood date spot, check out Good Measure, a new restaurant in Atwater Village that recently opened its doors at 3224 Glendale Blvd., at the former Ozu East Kitchen space.
The restaurant, run by industry veteran Matthew Kaner –formerly of Bar Covell in Silverlake– features a wine-centric menu divided into four courses: snack, appetizer, entreé, and dessert.
Entrees include lamb belly (with polenta, baby carrots, preserved lemon, mint and mustard greens), California halibut (with grilled rhubarb, fennel confit, and potato roosti), and even a burger (with mustardy onions, heirloom tomato, melted cheese, aioli, served on a potato bun with fingerling potatoes on the side).
Good Measure has just one review on Yelp, which gives it a four-star rating thus far.
Thelma A., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on July 31st, said: "So excited to have dined at Good Measure on their opening night. I've been anxiously awaiting their opening for a few months now...ever since Ozu East Kitchen closed actually."
Good Measure is now open Monday through Friday 5pm – 11pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am – 11pm, so stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood.
