A new spot to score coffee, tea and more has opened for business in the neighborhood. Located at 710 N Heliotrope Dr. in East Hollywood, the fresh addition is called Cuties.
The coffee bar is the first brick-and-mortar location for Cuties, a local community group that supports the LGBTQ community through events such as its Queers, Coffee & Donuts meet-ups. The organization was finally able to secure a spot after raising money through an IndieGoGo campaign.
At the new queer-owned and -operated cafe, which features a disco ball hanging above the entry, visitors can expect to sip on a variety of coffee drinks from Counter Culture Coffee while grubbing on donuts, vegan pastries and more.
With just one review on Yelp thus far, Cuties currently has a five-star rating.
Rodolfo M., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on July 31st, said: "THERE'S FINALLY A GREAT COFFEE SHOP ON THE BLOCK! i know many of us have been waiting on it, and Cuties gave us what we wanted! They serve delicious coffee and tea at a very good price, and they have some yummy treats for sale as well."
Head on over to check it out: Cuties is open weekdays from 7am–7pm. (It's closed on weekends.)
