A new spot to score coffee, tea and more has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Located at 123 Astronaut E S Onizuka St. in Downtown, the new arrival is called TeaShot.
Situated inside the Weller Court Shopping Center, boba spot TeaShot prides itself on using non-powdered milk and milk alternatives as well as "all-natural ingredients and organic options for our tea and coffee drinks."
Customers can choose to order one of the house-made drinks, which include the signature lychee tea, pearl horchata, rose milk tea and more, or create their own from a list of tea and milk options, along with toppings like honey boba, chia seeds, and aloe vera bits. For those that need a boost during the day, the shop also offers nitro coffee, Vietnamese coffee and more caffeine-powered options. (See the full menu here.)
With a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh addition has already made a good impression.
Dmitry S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 26th, said: "Awesome service and teas. Being a neighbor to these guys and I will always make sure to pay them a visit. My favorite is the unsweetened Lychee tea and just regular Jasmine."
Yelper Johnny T. added: “Was stopping by market and was in the mood for boba. Shop was next to garage entrance also easy to find. Had a decent organic selection for a soft opening. Will come back to try other flavors in the near future."
