A new Chinese spot, offering seafood and more, has debuted in the neighborhood. Located at 145 N 10th St. in Chinatown, the newcomer is called Xun Yu Si Kao.

The eatery, which replaced Sea Bar and is located next to Ting Wong, offers Chinese specialties in a dining room decorated with large Chinese characters and chandeliers created from tires and ropes.

The spicy fish pot is Xun Yu Si Kao's signature dish, served with your choice of tilapia, catfish, grouper, "opium fish" or two different types of bass.

After selecting the fish, customers can choose from the sauce menu, which includes hot and sour, garlic, spicy peppercorn, sauerkraut and more, before opting for any add-ons, from spam to rice cake to tofu skin, seaweed, sliced beef and more.

With a three-star rating out of nine reviews on Yelp so far, Xun Yu Si Kao has received mixed feedback—but it's still early days.

And Ernest S. said: "Honestly and I loved the food here. I had a dish of sticky rice around spare ribs. Really delicious. And it is a type of Asian cuisine that you don't see much anywhere. But it's quite pricey."

Xun Yu Si Kao is now open at 145 N 10th St., so stop in to try it for yourself.
