Looking to chow down on some Hawaiian fare? A new spot has you covered. Located at 735 W 7th St. in Downtown, the new addition is called Sweetfin Poke.

The DTLA location is Sweetfin Poke's newest—joining six other outposts throughout greater Los Angeles—and bills itself as a spot with a philosophy that is "Pole to Bowl," sourcing high-quality and sustainable fish.

The menu features poke bowls like spicy tuna with a creamy togarashi sauce; spicy yuzu salmon and edamame; shiitake chile tofu and more.

You can also build your own bowl with an array of ingredients to choose from. Start with a base like green bamboo rice or kelp noodle cucumber slaw, choose a protein, and then top it with veggies and a sauce to round the dish out.

With a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, Sweetfin Poke is on its way to developing a local fan base.

Peijean T., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on September 7th, said: "I have had a lot of mediocre poke but this place really stands out. Their ingredients are very fresh, bright and colorful."

Yelper Kerri P. added: “The last thing DTLA needed was another poke place and but at least this is the best of them all! I appreciate the higher quality ingredients and attempt to keep to a more traditional poke.”

And Emilio P. said: "Went to the brand new location in downtown Los Angeles . Never been to one of these and yes it was pretty good."

Head on over to check it out: Sweetfin Poke is open weekdays from 11am–10pm, and weekends from noon–9pm.
