Looking for a new cafe to check out? Look no further than this new arrival. Called Great White, the fresh arrival is located at 1604 Pacific Ave. in Venice.
This new spot bills itself as a neighborhood-focused café and restaurant specializing on coastal Californian cuisine "paired with great coffee."
For breakfast, look for items like the breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs, tater tots and bacon, or the "Great White" breakfast with eggs any style, bacon, roasted tomatoes, pea shoots, avocado, and grilled toast.
For lunch, which begins at 11:30am, expect to see items like the "Sea Side" quinoa bowl with charred corn, roasted sweet potato, tomato, pickled onion and avocado; the crispy chicken sandwich with house-made pickles, butter lettuce and fries; or "The Vegan" with cucumber, avocado, roasted pepper, sprouts, pesto and onion jam. With a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, the new cafe seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Taylor D., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on September 6th, said: "I work around the corner and always making coffee runs to one of the 4 options the area and decided to give them a try. Double shot of expresso to go and out the door in less than 2 minutes."
Yelper Nick B. added: “Absolutely love this new space and the blue smoothie bowl was to die for! Had the kombucha on tap. Finished with a really great flat white. Congrats to the these guys.”
And Ben K. said: "Brand new place. Good food and vibes. What else you need after surfing in the morning. Oh yeah and iced coffee with almond milk:)"
