A new nightclub has debuted in the neighborhood. Located at 755 N La Cienega Blvd.  in West Hollywood, the fresh addition is called Poppy.

Poppy is the latest addition from the H. Wood Group—which has nightclub and restaurant venues throughout the greater Los Angeles area, Colorado and Dubai—and joins venues like Bootsy Bellows, Blind Dragon and Shorebar.

Poppy bills itself as a "hybrid nightclub concept portraying a fantasy world transporting into an underlying stream of consciousness filled with the extensive menagerie of characters from a storybook setting."

The club is open for only one day a week—Thursdays from 10pm–2am—during which time patrons can spend the evening dancing, lounging on the indoor/outdoor patio, receiving personalized poems and caricature portraits, and enjoying drinks served in baroque vessels like oversized roses and oyster shells.

There's just one review on Yelp thus far, which gives it five stars.

Whitney L., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on September 2nd, said: "I'm so thrilled that this place finally opened! It exceeded all expectation. Love the atmosphere. Can't wait to go back."

Poppy is now open at 755 N La Cienega Blvd., so head on over to check it out.
