There's a brand-new cocktail bar in town. Located at 6327 Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood, the fresh arrival is called Paloma.

Paloma—which comes from the restauranteur duo of Darren Crane and Adolfo Suaya—features elevated, Mexican-inspired pub fare and an array of signature libations, with a focus on hard-to-find tequilas and mezcals.

On the food side of the menu, expect to see items like a filet mignon burrito with guacamole and cheese, chicken tinga tacos with spicy tomato and sour cream, and a carne asada plate with skirt steak, guacamole and beans.

Switching over to the drink menu, there are classic margaritas and palomas on draft, as well as signature cocktails like a Oaxacan old-fashioned, the "Canary in a Coal Mine" with black coal-infused Milagro blanco, yellow chartreuse, fresh lime, and Thai chili; and the "Desi," with Bacardi, fresh strawberries, jalapeño, agave, and lime.

With a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh arrival seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Ro S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on November 14th, said: "The chicken tinga tacos are no joke! Delicious. I could eat them every day, all day. And incredibly reasonably priced...$6 for 3 on Taco Tuesday. Love the vibe of the space too."

Yelper Katie B. added: “I was in Hollywood the last two weekends (a rare-ish occurrence) and visited Paloma on both occasions. The first experience was on a Sat, their first weekend open to the public, and and it was awesome.”

And Oscar L. said: "Great tacos and amazing paloma draft cocktail. I also tried the filet mignon burrito and that was the bomb! Place is gorgeous and taco Tuesday was a lot of fun. Be back again tomorrow!"

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Paloma is open daily from 4pm–2am.
