A new spot to score coffee, tea and donuts has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Located at 369 E 2nd St. in Downtown/Little Tokyo, the newcomer is called Bae.

This new coffee joint specializes in craft coffee, creative pastries and eclectic soft-serve ice cream flavors.

Expect to see a variety of popular coffee mainstays like espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, mochas and more. There are also sweet drinks, like the "Baeberry" lemonade and matcha green tea lattes.

For pastries, expect to see items like "Girl Scout Cookies" and tres leches donuts. For soft-serve ice cream, you'll find flavors such as the "First Date," "Mixed Feelings," and "The heartbreak."

With a five-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp so far, Bae has already made a good impression.

Tanie G., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on December 6th, said: "Lovely little coffee and donut shop in Little Tokyo. The sign in the front is hard to read, but this place is perfect if you want to meet someone and have a conversation over coffee."

Yelper Erin C. added: “Came here for the first time for the soft opening. They got some Christmas decorations up, and it's a very chic and modern hexagon design inside."

And Jin K. said: "It's a cute, Instagram-worthy place. Desserts are good and subtly sweet. I enjoyed the vibe, and the matcha soft serve is really good. Staff is welcoming and nice, and music isn't obnoxiously loud."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Bae is open weekdays from 6am–6pm, and weekends from 9am–7pm.
