'Chopt Creative Salad' Opens 2nd Raleigh Location In North RidgePhoto: Chopt/Yelp

East Coast salad chain Chopt has opened its latest location in Raleigh at 6004 Falls of Neuse Road. The new spot joins another location in Cameron Village.

The fast-casual eatery allows diners to choose salads from a menu or create their own out of a base of greens and four toppings.

Menu options include the Mediterranean falafel (chickpea falafel, spicy peppers, celery, quinoa cauliflower "rice", kale, broccoleaf and purple cabbage) or the Texas Po'boy (panko fried chicken, grape tomatoes, charred red onion, cheddar, and romaine).

Customers can then top off their salads with one of 20 dressings, ranging from classic flavors like white basalmic vinegar or creamy Caesar to spicier options like chili cashew or sriracha tzatziki. Diners can also pair their salads with a soup option, which include Mexican chicken soup or Italian vegetable soup.

The chain also prides itself on sourcing its ingredients from local farms, which it displays on a blackboard at the new location.
