Family-owned spot Clove Coffee Garden recently opened its doors in the Mid-Wilshire area. The new café combines two Angeleno favorites—coffee and succulents—for a serene experience amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.

Located at 5007 W. Pico Blvd, Clove Coffee Garden is a project from Carolina Martinez and her grandmother, Shirley Carroll. It combines Martinez's love of coffee and healing teas with horticulturist Carroll's succulent plant and flower expertise.

On the coffee menu, expect to see a variety of popular mainstays like espresso, cappuccinos, mochas, lattes, and more. Look for an array of teas as well, like Golden Yunnan black tea, genmaicha green with hints of roasted brown rice, and turmeric ginger and yerba mate herbal. (You can check out the full menu here.)

Carroll's succulent arrangements are also available at the eatery. According to the business, arrangements come with drainage gravel, succulent/cactus soil, decorative pebble toppings, and a choice of a decorative amethyst crystal or driftwood accent.

Clove Coffee Garden has just one review on Yelp, which gives it a five-star rating thus far.

Brownpyramid X., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on December 5th, said: "The coffee had a very good, bold flavor and it gave me a nice pep in my step. All in all, this business deserves five stars for quality, creativity and service."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Clove Coffee Garden is open daily from 7am–7pm.
