Looking to chow down on some French fare, including brunch? A new spot has you covered. Called Melody, the fresh addition is located at 751 N. Virgil Ave. in East Hollywood.

This new French Riviera-inspired eatery features a rotating seasonal menu with an array of casual, yet elevated fare. The kitchen is led by chef Hunter Pritchett, known for cooking at Son of a Gun and Golden Boys Chinese.

On the menu, expect to see items like braised celery hearts with toasted hazelnuts, cauliflower gratin with kimchi béchamel, poached prawns with a tomato consommé, and hamachi crudo with olive tapenade and cucumbers.

Melody has just one review on Yelp, which gives it a five-star rating thus far.

Dillon D., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on November 18th, said: "My new favorite food and soon-to-be watering hole resto. Food is top-notch, but that's to be expected when you know that the former chef of Son of a Gun is behind the menu."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Melody is open Wednesday–Monday from 6pm–11pm, and Sunday from 10am–4pm.
