A new cafe has made its debut in the neighborhood. The new addition to North Hollywood, called City Kitchen, is located at 5225 Lankershim Blvd.
This new spot has an extensive menu, featuring a variety of options like salads and sandwiches, panini, burgers, Italian-inspired entrees, and more. City Kitchen serves breakfast all day, and is open for lunch and dinner, too.
On the breakfast menu, expect to see items like omelets, steak and eggs, waffles, French toast, pancakes, and huevos rancheros.
For lunch, look for gourmet burgers with chorizo, avocado, chipotle mayo, and a fried egg; chicken or turkey pesto panini with sun-dried tomatoes; and a slow-cooked brisket sandwich with housemade horseradish and caramelized onions.
Switching over to dinner, there's fettuccine alfredo, wild boar potato gnocchi, penne alla vodka, and a New York steak with mashed potatoes and veggies.
With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the new cafe seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Sophia J., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on December 2nd, said: "My sister and I decided to give this place a try and stopped buy to eat lunch. We both ordered sandwiches (I had the brisket and fries and she had the chicken pesto and salad)."
Yelper Adam F. added: “Cute spot! Brand new restaurant in NoHo. The service was fast, and the prices are fair. More importantly, the food is delicious! They serve breakfast and lunch all day, and and offer a wide variety.”
And Sara F. said: "I ordered the prosciutto panini and it was delicious! I recommend this place. Service was fast and friendly."
City Kitchen is now open at 5225 Lankershim Blvd., so stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood.
