Enjoy rosé at a shopping event
Rack + Rosé "is a celebration of retail therapy and rosé hosted by Dear Danger mobile boutique and Engelmann Cellars. Attendees will have a chance to shop at local fashion trucks Mermaids and Co. and Believe, in addition to some of our favorite makers and artisans in California. Taste six wines from Engelmann Cellars for $5, or sip on a number of other wine offerings."

Rock out at classic musical 'Godspell'

"Based on the Gospel according to Matthew, Godspell is the first musical theatre offering from composer Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin). It's based around a comedic troupe of eccentric players who team up with Jesus to teach his lessons in a new age, through parables, games, and tomfoolery. Godspell also features the international hit 'Day by Day,' as well as an eclectic blend of songs ranging from pop to vaudeville as Jesus’ life is played out onstage."

Take an advanced wine tasting class

Love wine and want to take your tasting skills to the next level? Try out this "advanced class for those that can tell the difference between a Pinot Noir and a Syrah, or a Sauvignon Blanc and a Chardonnay, but just don't know why...Guest sommelier Chris Shackelford will teach you how to detect basic chemicals, such as phenolic bitterness, pyrazines, terpenes, and rotundone. This class is for those that can perceive oak influence and malolactic fermentation, and eight wines will be tasted."

Bring the kids to an Easter egg hunt

The Calwa Rec Center is hosting a special Easter egg hunt for kids this weekend, featuring games, music, prizes, food, and 4-H animal displays. Costumed "superhero" Lorenzo Lo will make an appearance as well. Just be sure to BYOB (the "b" stands for basket).

Learn to make a macramé wall hanging

Love the macramé wall art that's trending on Pinterest, but unsure how to make your own? This two-hour workshop will literally show you the ropes, giving you a thorough grounding in basic macrame skills and techniques and then helping you create a beautiful piece of decor for your wall. All materials are provided, including light refreshments and snacks.
