
If you love live music, this weekend is a great one to get out and about in the Fresno area. From EDM to rock to family-friendly tunes, here are three local shows worth checking out.
123 Andrés
Andrés Salguero—better known as 123 Andrés—is a native of Colombia who's become "one of the most exciting voices on the family music scene," according to the organizers of this event. His 2016 album, Arriba Abajo, won the Latin Grammy for Best Latin Children’s Album and the Parent’s Choice Gold Award; his latest, La Luna, combines "original songs, traditional tunes, and soothing Andean sounds to drift listener—young or old—to a fantastical dream world...Andrés is guaranteed to get kids and parents singing, dancing, and celebrating in Spanish and English."

Midnight Run

If you haven't "stopped believin'" in the power of Journey, tribute band Midnight Run is here to "Faithfully" execute all of your favorite hits, complete with a food truck and beer garden on-site at this outdoor show. For the past decade, the group "has been rocking venues, concerts, festivals and fairs all over California...add in a full stage, lighting, and sound show, and you’ve got a complete 80s rock concert reminiscent of the good old days! Bring your lighter for the ballads and bring your attitude for the rockin’ tunes; it’s going to feel that real!"

WOM ArtHop After Hours

After hitting Thursday night's ArtHop in downtown Fresno, you can get down at a special afterparty event, featuring EDM DJs like FYR (Teezzy Radio), Cisco (B95), Dom Solo (These Guys) and Nico on drums. The event will also feature a ton of drink specials from 10pm-11:30pm: $3 Pacifico draft beers, $4 Blue Ball shooters, $5 gin & tonics, and $6 French Kiss martinis.
